Good response to Brunei Halal’s mass sampling exercise

Encouraging response was recorded by Brunei Halal for its nationwide redemption promotion exercise to introduce to local public the Brunei Halal taste and brand.

Organised in partnership with the Sultanate’s leading newspapers including Borneo Bulletin Sunday and Media Permata throughout November, the nationwide mass sampling exercise proved to be a huge success when over 66,000 redemptions were registered throughout the four weekends.

“This was a tremendous response and we are very happy with the support,” says Noel Shield, CEO of Brunei Halal. He added the main purpose of the exercise was to let the people of Brunei have a taste of the Brunei Halal products.

Brunei Halal – a brand created by the Islamic sultanate of Brunei Darussalam – aims to provide a seal of sheer premium quality in the global Halal food industry.

Especially in today’s environment where the food and beverage market is bombarded with non-Halal raw materials and ingredients, the Brunei Halal Brand is committed in its effort to increase the availability of a trusted Halal-certified produce, globally.

Mr Reggie See, General Manager of Brunei Press said, “This recent promotion is one of the biggest we have held for this year. It is our way of rewarding readers who have been supporting our newspapers for so many years. The response has exceeded our expectations and we look forward to working with Brunei Halal again in future.”

Those who would like to purchase any Brunei Halal products can visit the Brunei Halal Warehouse in Jerudong, Simpang 332 until December 16 after which the products will be on sale at selected retail outlets.
