Australia luring Arabs to Gold Coast for Ramadan
Religious sensitivities meant many Arabs were reluctant to travel during Ramadan, but the Gold Coast in Australia is trying to persuade them otherwise.
Out of 1,574 hotels and resorts in the country, only 366 or 23 per cent have obtained the halal certificates for the food served in their premises. Of this, 75% are four to five star hotels.
